"It is my desire to create a Christ-centered, fun, memory making home for
my children. What if my children remember mama skipping and marching
around the house in joyful praise to Christ each morning? Wouldn't this
be better then a tired, grumpy mama sipping her coffee? Now I know not
every morning will be like this yet I would like to try to be mindful
of how my children see me beginning our day together."

Our next morning song is, "Holy" by Matt Redman. Enjoy!!
Jessica, this is very sweet and mindful to start the morning with a song. I love it! Thank you so much for posting! Your song selection is wonderful. I'd love to read your link, and it doesn't work for me for some reason. Would you repost it, please? I'd love to read about how it went on for you and the kids :) We should do something like that too: thank you!
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting me know the link was not working! It's fixed!! Let your joyful mornings begin!
DeleteThe link did not work for me either.
ReplyDeleteBeing a non morning person I have learned over the years to not have an "official start" till later. That way it can be joyful for everyone. When I had all littles we started the day with books and snuggles and no talking. The kids never seemed to mind, they just climbed in bed with me. My two littlest do this now and my 2 bigger ones start chores.
And we do beautiful music in the mornings as well. When all were little it was played quietly on CD. (Bible Songs, Hymns, and other Worship Music) Now we do Hymn Study all together during our Morning Time.
So I think your idea is wonderful. Just putting in the cd and playing it while the morning starts sets our hearts the right way.
Once the link is fixed I'm excited to see how it works for your family.
I would love to read about your hymn study! Thanks for sharing!!
